History: He comes from a rich northern family. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Erky isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
