History: He was born in the north. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Description: This man is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright grey and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized topaz on his left hand. He has moderate length black hair. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bernard is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Bernard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He now mingles about in high society.

He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a red coat. His rusty crest is unkempt and raggedy. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. Fax enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

He wears a small hat to cover his moderate length black hair. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Through the years after Norman was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Norman's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Clerebold will drive conversation. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Clerebold was born with his mother's beautiful face. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
