The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: River was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At a young age his mother died while driving off some orcs. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in sword use. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Performer; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Gilbert has worked very hard to control his curse. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
