History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. After a long history of fighting, Berrian and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
