History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Knight mother left him crippled. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Description: He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. With bright white hair and a scraggly beard. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Richard hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Barrister and was forced into it by his family; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
