History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Roger was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
