History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ratak fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
