History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When Aerdeth reached his early adolescence his Half-Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears yellow robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a shortbow, but if one is not available he will default to his longsword. His black hair is long and unkept. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears silk and lounges about seductively. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Nicholas embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.

History: Nicholas was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and to unite with his sister

Description: His skin is bronze and flawless. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He is an epitome of beauty. He has styled his auburn hair well, parting it to the right. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barber hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Description: The light-skinned man stands 5'9" and wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His golden hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a top hat. His hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
