History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Shamash was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Shamash's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Shamash and his spouse have recently divorced.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shipwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
