History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Rurik was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Rurik's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

He prefers to carry a bastard sword, but if one is not available he will default to his sai. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He got into the Map Maker business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Map Maker. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Map Maker.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To pay off his debts.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He sports a flattop hair cut. He has gleaming, smiling brown eyes.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

His father taught him the rudiments of the Dyer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has never given up on his singing dream.
