History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Being a Shipwright kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Through the years after Thorin was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Thorin's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he has money and likes to spend it
