History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Patrin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Born in the east to a Scribe, Thervan learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Scribe work with an outfit from a few towns over. Scribe work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
