Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears a black vest and prefers red and blue shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His brown hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Riardon grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and money/treasure

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is a great chef.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and retire the richest man in the north

His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and a deep hatred of dire rats

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Lûgdash was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and regain custody of his daughter
