History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Morgran was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Roland was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Bagga was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He became a Masseuse soon after.
