History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and doesn't want to be a sellsword and was forced into it by his family

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Brottor hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Brottor was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.
