History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Oblar's homeland. Oblar decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.
