History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Umpen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
