The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Miner they were divorced and he won custody of their son. History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Valorean was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west.
