History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. History: The child of a Crown-heir, who enjoyed hunting, Veit was taken on many hunting expeditions. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the west were limited. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born in the north. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Cloud grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Cloud. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
