Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Roger will drive conversation. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Roger was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Norkruuth abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bhevek embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. Bhevek is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Gifted from a young age, Tordek studied abroad. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Tordek has worked very hard to control his curse. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to pay off his debts
