History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in the north to a Spy, River learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Spy for hire.
