History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. At some point he was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He's also a talented Cook, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rurik fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Paggen's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

History: He was born in a small forest village. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Merchant business.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
