History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Whurbin took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up quarterstaff and armor he uses now. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a brown costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso, and is pretty ugly. His auburn hair is long and unkept. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Performer business.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he's in love

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His first spouse was a Brewer, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. After a long history of fighting, Vondal and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Layabout and was forced into it by his family.
