His mother taught him the rudiments of the Miner arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tabaxi companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Taklinn lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Mayor, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Taklinn never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Peren's homeland. Peren decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
