History: He was born in the north. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Godfrey never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Jocelyn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Jocelyn was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.
