Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Spear was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

After coming to the age of reason, Kiirith took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
