History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Shipwright who has hired him part-time. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. Vassago liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is greedy; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with blue lining and desert motifs. He wears a small hat to hide his balding. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and wants to work out more often

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
