Raer took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up trident and armor he uses now. After a long history of fighting, Raer and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. A true patriot, Eberdeb would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Eberdeb was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and wants his loneliness to end

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and nothing but the best is good enough for him
