After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Fonkin was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. He bought a sword and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: The child of a Dyer, who enjoyed hunting, Shadow was taken on many hunting expeditions. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Vlorn hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. The war was a terrible time for him, and Vlorn does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Description: An older man who is dressed in a clean brown cloak covering his clean studded leather, he is not a threatening figure. His white hair is cut short. He has several tiny amber earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. Dench is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and to unite with his brother
