History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Personality: Serpent is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born in the north. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has worked as a Glassblower like his father before him.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. At some point he was captured by giants and was tortured. Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Kyle enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
