Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a white vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His pastel leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his white boots flare out at the collars, and is pretty ugly. His brown fur is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His amber eyes are passionate and lively.
Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. At some point he was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

History: He was born into a rich family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Description: 4'10" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His hair is chestnut and curly. He has a dull look in his brown eyes.
Personality: Quarion hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has never given up on his poetry dream.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: Standing 4'0", this man wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty brown coat over it. He wears his red hair down. His fierce amber eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.
History: Born in the west to a Bookbinder, Fallond learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bookbinder for hire.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Bookbinder responsibilities is difficult.

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. He has dyed his greying brown hair a little too much giving a sharp brown color. His eyes are likewise amber.
Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Faran liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He bought a shield and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is his passion.
