Personality: He hates orcs. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Reynard is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end his boredom

History: Paymon hails from a village terrorized by giants. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Engraver hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Paymon was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: He is content; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: He was born in a small forest village. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is his passion
