History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Tree grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: This slender man stands about 6'4". He wears just a black suit. He keeps his white hair in a pixie cut. He has a dull look in his hazel eyes.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. One day when Shag was young, his mother was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his mother dropped to the ground dead. His mother had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Shag was heart-stricken from the event, and his father started working long hours to provde for them. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears a black cloak and cross-gartered green stockings, and a wedding ring on his right hand. He has no hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Frederick embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears an entirely grey suit with tan socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He has black crest. His eyes are red and catlike.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and retire the richest man in the north

Voice: Eastern European accent

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears a green vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His pastel leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his green boots flare out at the collars. His blue crest is singed and shortened. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines gold.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Heskan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
