History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Ekemon was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ekemon fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: Nicholas hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Nicholas took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up shortspear and armor he uses now. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
