He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He tends to his Stylist job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
