Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. A freak accident while working with his Bellfounder mother left him crippled. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Ploughman. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he would like to get married and retire

His thin eyebrows rest above his beady brown eyes.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Zephan hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. After a long history of fighting, Zepar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is wracked by social anxiety
