History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Fax is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A freak accident while working with his Mayor mother left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
