There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Alston has worked very hard to control his curse. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Therai was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Tiefling conditions. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: The child of a Mason, who enjoyed hunting, Olunt was taken on many hunting expeditions. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He bought a crossbow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dragonborn companion (his 'brother'). He then took over the family business and is one of the better Fisher for hire.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and retire the richest man in the north
