History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Hubert was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. After a long history of fighting, Hubert and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

History: Norkruuth was born the youngest of three triplets. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Carpenter they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Layabout, and he later adopted a second daughter.
