History: He was born into a rich family. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Bûth is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Bûth was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Description: This tall, slender man very much looks the part of a Shepherd. His hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. He has amber eyes.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Rael hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Rael's homeland. Rael decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Shepherd for the past few years.

Description: He stands about 6'10" and wears white robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a halberd, but if one is not available he will default to his scimitar. His left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Fenriz was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Fenriz grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Fenriz. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy silver stubble. He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with white lining and desert motifs. He has a hunchback. He wears his silver hair up in a very large beehive style do. His eyes are violet and catlike.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Ur-Lisak enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
