History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His childhood dream was to be a Sage, but he was a colossal failure. He tends to his Doctor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Doctor responsibilities is difficult; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
