History: He got into the Guard business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Guard for the past few years.

He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: The child of a Mortician, who enjoyed hunting, Diggory was taken on many hunting expeditions. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Jebeddo embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. After a long history of fighting, Jebeddo and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears professional attire. His hair is auburn and curly. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. After coming to the age of reason, Gorfel took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
