History: Lucan hails from a village terrorized by orcs. At some point he was captured by orcs and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bricklayer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
