History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Shifting liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shifting fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Sellsword kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is his passion
