In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He tends to his Apothecary job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He is a Fortune-teller first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Sapply was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Fortune-teller. He has achieved small success as a Fortune-teller.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and balancing his hectic life and new fortune-teller responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Miles was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Kody hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To protect his home; and he seems to be bored by most things

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Shifting abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
