Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He found a children's book about a Tiefling Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Sage. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born to a Body Guard, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He now owns his own business.
