Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking southern young adult. He typically wears grey cloth garments or leather armor. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His hair, while still mostly auburn, has prominent grey streaks. His blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and he is greedy

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears light armors faded through time and improper care. He wears his blonde hair down. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His auburn hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a feathered hat. He has several tiny jet earrings on each ear.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Thokk hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has achieved small success as a Barber.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new barber responsibilities is difficult

Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright grey and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His hair is long and silver with streaks of auburn, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is auburn, braided, and well cared for. His half smiles and blue eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. His first spouse was a Bather, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter.

Description: He is lean but muscular and wears baggy white pantaloons and a blue scarf. His hair is long and black with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small white clips. His beard is blonde, braided, and well cared for. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He bought a rapier and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and wants to open a new tavern
