History: Nelkin lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Carpenter they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Architect, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He tends to his Sailor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Sailor responsibilities is difficult; and wants to open a new tavern

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Arannis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: Jak was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Armorer for hire.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His childhood dream was to be a Guard, but he was a colossal failure. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Beggar for hire.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and balancing his hectic life and new beggar responsibilities is difficult
