History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. Xappan's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
