History: Faran was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. Through the years after Faran was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Faran's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sailor. He's also a talented Dyer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He tends to his Ruler job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.
